Staying at the Lovelady Shield Country House Hotel was a little step back into a hotel with old world charm. It’s located in a very quiet valley. Perfect for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful and welcoming. My room was very comfortable - the bed was excellent and as someone who struggles with a bad back, I slept well. The TV didn’t want to load the programmes but that was the only negative of my whole stay.

Beautiful and peaceful, if you are looking for a quiet place to stay this place is perfect! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, calling a couple of local restaurants for me when I got there. Thank you Sharon and Naomi in particular. Breakfast was full of options to choose from and overall was a very relaxing experience :-)
