Skegness Fantasy Island: Fabulous Family Recreation Resort

After a year of staying at home, the joint sacrifice of people and frontline workers, along with the success of the vaccination programme, the COVID-19 restrictions are gradually lifting, and we are finally hearing the good news we have been waiting to receive for so long: going back to normal life.

With restrictions easing, many of us are passionate about getting out, exploring the world, and trying something stirring after ages of the dull quarantine life.

Nothing can make up for the days wasted without the slightest touch of thrill except for a fantastic amusement park-like Skegness Fantasy Island. What is better than a family holiday resort by the sea featured by a theme park with countless stuff to do for giving your family trips a kick-start?

Can We Start Travelling Again?

In spring 2021, the UK government announced a roadmap for the safe lifting of the restrictions.

The roadmap breaks the welcomed news that from 12th April, the citizens will be able to:

Visit outdoor attractions like zoos, theme parks and drive-in cinemas

Eat and drink at hospitality venues with outdoor-only table service

Take domestic holidays and trips if staying in self-contained, self-catered accommodation with only household members.

The road map inspires hope and courage to start making plans for our life again, but beware; it says one can go on ‘domestic trips’.  Overseas travel is not allowed yet. Therefore, we must resume the adventure from exploring our own country.

How do you like a day trip or a staycation in the UK to get some fresh air and satisfy your travel bug? Those kids kept in their bedrooms for so long need some exercise and fun before everything.

Just bear in mind that we must still travel responsibly and meet the protocols like social distancing to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus.
